ARTISANAL NOTE

This halterneck style piece is the collective work of numerous families behind every weave, stitch and seam. From the Kudecha family who has dyed and woven each motif carefully by hand to the tailoring of the Kumbaya community with love and precision.

The incredible weaver Dahyabhai and his family are one of our new ZAZI partners. Through men traditionally do this style of weaving in their community, Dahyabhai taught his wife and they now work together as a family of 9. He's proud to cloth many communities, using natural hand-dyed yarn and indigenous Kala cotton.

MATERIALS AND CARE

Zazi items are handmade with carefully selected natural materials without the use of synthetic chemicals. To cherish your handcrafted Zazi dress for a longer time, please handle it with care.

This handwoven fabric feels smooth on the skin and falls softly on the body.
Due to the hand dyed and handwoven nature of the fabric, there might be color and motif variations making each piece one of a kind.
Protect from heavy rain or heat. Should it become wet, we advise to air dry.
Washing by hand is advised to maintain quality of thread and colour.

When it comes to running a small company with purpose, there are so many costs that are both unseen and seen. From renting our Zazi world in the heart of Amsterdam to the worldwide creatives we work with every day. From the most talented pattern makers, photographers and muses to the endless calls to perfection every co-creation up to the smallest seam. From our community work of tracking your order to packing them with love, and a little note before it arrives with you.

Our co-creations are a process of months of calls and love letters to our partners to get to know them and their stories. Two teams of women coming together from far corners of the world to create products made with the intentionality to truly connect you to the stories interwoven in them. If there is money left by the end of this process, it is directly invested into a new community so we can slowly grow this company step by step.

ZAZI items are shipped worldwide with carefully selected packaging and partners with the planet in mind. Each piece is wrapped in an exclusive reusable bag handmade from upcycled Saree and our packaging is made from recycled materials. As express shipping is more harmful on our planet than standard, we aim to use standard shipping where possible.

Shipping Europe: free. Normal delivery in 1-3 working days.
Shipping outside Europe: €19,95. Normal delivery within 3-5 working days. Please note, all custom duties and/or import taxes that may apply for shipping outside the Eu is the responsibility of our international customer.

Your pre-order, made to order and custom items will be shipped on the estimated date as shared on the product description. Custom items are exchanged only.
