After listening to your most frequently asked questions and queries, our team felt the need to explain and simplify the steps to create your custom coat. In doing so, we love to take you on a journey to show you the simple steps needed to bring your one-of-a-kind piece to life!

Each of our coats is crafted from vintage suzani pieces sourced along the ancient silk Road and interwoven with upcycled sheepskin by our partner families in Afghanistan. With each suzani having a richness of meaning, your coat is an ode to its woven story of women, cloth and stitches.

For your custom coat, you can select from 5 different styles and our team works with all beautiful sizes. Follow the steps below to select your perfect size, favorite suzani and trim color to create your dream coat made to love and cherish for many years to come.

How long does it take? Our custom coats are handmade with care and creating your dream piece takeS 8-12 weeks.

Do you ship worldwide? Yes, we ship worldwide from Amsterdam. Shipping/VAT is included in the EU.

Do you create the custom coats in all sizes? Yes, we work with all beautiful sizes. Our standard EU sizing is XS-S-M-L-XL but if you fall in between sizes or prefer your coat to be smaller or bigger, please add a note to your order.

How do I find my size? Our team has created sizing guidelines to refer to if you are unsure about your sizing. From our experience, we know some of us to like to wear our jackets a bit oversized - not going to lie, we do too! In that case, I would recommend sticking to your standard size and adding your oversize requirement in the comments section of the order page. Do you need support? Can I order a shorter length? Yes, this is possible on request. Please add a note when you order your custom coat.

How do I find my dream suzani fabric? To find your dream vintage suzani is the most fun part because you finally get to bring your vision to life and go on the journey to find the fabric from our Zazi fabric catalogue. We would recommend first looking at which colors and patterns speak to you. Perhaps you have already seen an inspiration on our Instagram or worn by our team? Look for a similar fabric to your inspiration and our team is always happy to advise you.

How do I select the right trim color? The available trim options are natural white, brown and black. We recommend selecting the colour that your feel most comfortable wearing and the lining of your coat is matched with the selected trim colour.
