At ZAZI we consciously chose to not work with any factories. All our artisan partners work from the comfort or their homes, in community centers and underneath the trees in rural villages. So why is this important for intentional creation and the relationship we have with our clothing and its makers? In this piece we dive into the importance of home-based work and how it relates to the flourishing of the feminine.

On 8 April earlier this month, tucked away off an Amsterdam canal, a group of Women lay down together in a circle. Here they shed a part of themselves. What rose from the love into the air turned into visions of future selves.

Meet Paola Nikté.  A Mayan Healer who offers wisdom on how to reconnect with the womb and braid this intuition into creation. Cultivating the art of listening to the feminine body in our everyday living and ritual, Paola now helps women to bridge the womb to our creative voice and power.

Meet Akané. Gathering leftover flowers from temples as slow resistance towards fast fashion, Juhi and Janhavi Vyas are embodying the harmony and cycles of nature.
